Play Big Bass Splash Demo

Big Bass Splash demo runs on the same game engine as the real version. You're testing the actual slot, not a simplified copy. The RNG is identical, free spins trigger at the same rate, money symbols show the same values. What you see in demo is what you get with real money.

No card details, no registration. Click demo, it loads with play money. The £100,000 credit resets when you refresh. You can test everything: buy the free spins feature for 100x bet, trigger the respin mechanic, collect wilds through all four multiplier levels. The only difference is you can't withdraw winnings.

Demo has no time limit or spin cap. Test the £2 minimum bet, try the £250 maximum, see how often scatters land. Some players run a hundred spins to feel the volatility before deciding. You won't hit a paywall.

This is Reel Kingdom's game (Pragmatic Play's subsidiary), so the demo works across devices without downloads. Same underwater graphics, same hook and bazooka features, same 5,000x max win ceiling. If something works in demo, it works identically when you deposit.

Big Bass Splash hands you a lottery ticket before every free spins round—between zero and five random modifiers that can stack the deck with extra fish, more wilds, or a head start at the 10x multiplier level. You're essentially gambling on your gambling setup, which either feels brilliant or maddening depending on whether the game decides you deserve the help. It's Pragmatic's Reel Kingdom refining the bass-fishing formula that's already spawned more sequels than anyone can count, but this time with the twist that two players triggering the same scatter count might end up playing completely different bonus rounds. The core mechanic—fisherman wilds collecting money fish up to 5000x bet—remains unchanged, which means if you've played any Big Bass variant, you already know whether this rhythm works for you or drives you up the wall.

How To Play

Before your first spin, you'll need to set your bet. Click the + or buttons either side of the spin button—this opens the bet menu where you'll see the game uses a two-part system: coins per line and coin value. Your total bet is calculated as coins per line × coin value × 10 fixed paylines. You can adjust each component separately or hit BET MAX to jump straight to the maximum stake. The slot accepts bets from as low as £0.10 up to £250 per spin.

Once your bet's set, the large central SPIN button with the crown logo starts the game. Standard stuff, but here's where Big Bass Splash shows its hand: look at the centre of the screen during play and you'll see "HOLD SPACE FOR TURBO SPIN" appear. Hold down the spacebar on desktop to engage turbo mode—significantly faster than standard spins. This is separate from the Quick Spin setting you'll find in the settings menu (access via the hamburger menu icon).

Autoplay sits bottom right and opens a menu where you can set automatic spins with various stop conditions. Click it again to cancel at any time.

The BUY FREE SPINS button lives permanently in the top left corner, showing the current cost—always 100× your total bet. So if you're betting £2, the buy-in costs £200. Click it to get a confirmation popup with a clear accept/decline choice. You'll trigger the free spins round immediately with 3, 4, or 5 scatters awarded randomly.

Settings (the three-line icon) gives you control over Quick Spin mode, sound toggles, and battery saver if you're on mobile. The info button (lowercase 'i') bottom left opens the paytable and rules—seven pages of information you can navigate with arrows.

One critical detail: the game has a 5,000× bet win cap. If your total win hits this during free spins, the round ends immediately and remaining spins are forfeited. The bet menu displays this warning, and it's worth noting before buying the feature at higher stakes.

All monetary displays (credit and bet) can be toggled between coins view and cash view by clicking directly on the labels.

Special Symbols

Wild Symbol - Fisherman

Wild Symbol

The fisherman character appears as Wild. He's a friendly cartoon man with a brown beard and moustache, wearing a pink shirt, blue jeans, brown cowboy boots and a cream cowboy hat. The symbol shows him against a golden radiant burst effect. Wild appears on all reels during the free spins round only. It substitutes for all symbols except Scatter and collects all Money symbol values visible on screen.

Scatter Symbol - Bass Fish

Scatter Symbol

The bass fish character wearing a brown vest triggers the feature. The fish is green with a yellow belly, shown in cartoon style with the word "SCATTER" on a black banner below. Scatter appears on all reels.

Money Symbols

Money Symbols

The fish paying symbols aren't just regular symbols. At every spin, each fish takes a random money value that can be collected during free spins. Possible values are: 2x, 5x, 10x, 15x, 20x, 25x, 50x, 100x, 200x, 500x, 1666x, 2500x or 5000x total bet.

Base Game Features

Before you trigger the main feature, two mechanics can help you land that third Scatter.

🎣

Respin Feature

When 2 Scatters land without a third, there's a random chance they'll move down one position and the reels without Scatters respin. This only happens if the Scatters can move down without leaving the reel area.

🪝

Hook Feature

Also randomly, when 2 Scatters are on screen, a hook can appear and pull one of the reels up or down to drag another Scatter into view.

Free Spins

Land 3 or more Scatters to trigger free spins:

  • 3 Scatters = 10 free spins
  • 4 Scatters = 15 free spins
  • 5 Scatters = 20 free spins

Pre-Round Modifiers

Before the round starts, the game randomly selects between 0 and 5 modifiers that apply to the entire feature:

More Fish – Increases the number of fish Money symbols on the reel strips during the round.
More Fisherman – Increases Wild symbols on the reel strips.
More Dynamite, Hooks and Bazookas – Boosts the chance of triggering the special spin features described below.
Start from Level 2 – The round begins at level 2, meaning you start with a 2x multiplier already active.
+2 Spins – Adds 2 extra free spins to the starting amount, and adds 2 more spins to every retrigger.

Wild Collection Mechanic

During free spins, every Wild symbol that lands collects the values from all Money symbols currently on screen. The multiplier from your current level applies to these collections.

All Wilds that hit are collected in a bar above the reels. Every 4th Wild collected retriggers the feature – you get 10 more free spins and the multiplier increases:

  • Level 1 (0-3 Wilds collected): 1x multiplier
  • Level 2 (4-7 Wilds collected): 2x multiplier
  • Level 3 (8-11 Wilds collected): 3x multiplier
  • Level 4 (12+ Wilds collected): 10x multiplier

After reaching level 4, the feature can't retrigger again. The retriggered spins play after the current batch ends.

Random Spin Features

Three special features can randomly trigger during free spins to create winning combinations:

💥

Dynamite Feature

When Wilds land but no fish Money symbols are present, fish symbols can appear in random positions at the end of the spin.

🪝

Hook Feature

When fish Money symbols are on screen but no Wilds, a hook pulls a random reel up to bring Wild symbols onto the reels.

🔫

Bazooka Feature

When Wilds are present but no fish, a bazooka animation appears and transforms all symbols except Wilds into different symbols. Special reels are used during this feature.

Buy Feature

The free spins round can be bought instantly from the base game for 100x the current total bet. When buying, 3, 4 or 5 Scatters land randomly on the triggering spin, determining how many free spins you start with.

Maximum Win

The maximum win is capped at 5000x total bet. If the total win of a free spins round reaches this limit, the round immediately ends, the win is awarded, and all remaining free spins are forfeited.

Layered Bass Fishing Mechanics

+ Pros Cons
  • Five random modifiers before free spins → every bonus round feels different with potential for extra fish, wilds, or starting at level 2
  • Progressive multiplier system (1x→2x→3x→10x) → wild collections escalate through four levels with 10 extra spins per retrigger
  • Base game helper features → 2 scatters can trigger respin with reel shifts or hook pulling in a third scatter
  • Random rescue mechanics in bonus → dynamite spawns fish, hook pulls wilds, bazooka transforms symbols when near-misses occur
  • Persistent visual feedback → collection bar shows all gathered wilds with multiplier badges, modifier icons stay visible throughout
  • Money symbol value range 2x to 5000x → potential for massive single-spin collections when wilds land with high-value fish
  • Buy feature button shows £200 cost but banned in UK → prominent unusable interface element cluttering the screen
  • High cognitive load during free spins → simultaneously tracking wild collection bar, active modifiers, multiplier level, and remaining spins
  • Base game heavily scatter-dependent → sessions feel slow waiting for 3+ scatters to trigger the actual feature
  • 5000x max win cap with immediate termination → hitting the limit forfeits all remaining free spins and potential retriggers
  • Card symbols pay 40p to £20 on £2 stake → frequent spins deliver negligible wins or complete blanks
